ISO

ISO

                  What is ISO?
Sensitivity of your camera to available light.

How ISO works technically (in camera) & visually (in photo)?
As you increase your ISO the picture becomes more grainy.

What happens to the exposure triangle when you change your ISO?
If you let in light one way you have to balance it out and let light in another way by balancing out the shutter speed and aperture.

Shutter Speed

Shutter Speed
What is shutter speed?
The length of time the digital sensor is exposed to light; measured in light

How shutter speed works technically (in camera) & visually (in photo)?
The slower the shutter speed the more blur you get and the faster the shutter speed the more frozen motion you get.

What happens to the exposure triangle when you change your shutter speed?
You have to change your ISO and f stop and balance out the light meter in order to get it to 0.

Aperture

Aperture
What is aperture?
The amount of light through the lens. Depth of field, variates.

How aperture works technically (the camera) and visually (in photo)?
A shallow depth of field to help create a select focus.

What happens to the exposure triangle when you change your aperture?
When the numbers change you have to balance out the light meter and change the shutter speed.
